Dr. Glenn Sandler has been providing surgical care to the residents of Montgomery County for 25+ years. He has an interest and expertise in hernia repairs and also specializes in the removal of lipomas (fatty tumors).
Over the years, Dr. Sandler has taught courses and lectured extensively on the topics of open and laparoscopic hernia repairs and has served as Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital and continues to serve as Medical Director of the Montgomery Surgery Center. Dr. Sandler is consistently named an Outstanding General Surgeon in the area by the Washingtonian Top Doctor and Consumer Checkbook.
Since 2006 Dr. Sandler has participated in surgical missions to San Pedro Sula and Comayagua, Honduras providing surgical care to the indigent communities of Central America. When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Sandler spends time with his wife and daughter.
